Privacy notice

What stays on your device, what is sent to online services, and how to contact us about your data.

1. Who handles your information

Arman Mamyan maintains Open Dram and handles feedback submitted through this website. An organization using the ledger is responsible for the customer records it enters.

2. Your local ledger

Workspace records and exports are saved in the locations you choose. The default local workflow requires no account and does not upload your ledger.

Files are not automatically encrypted by being stored locally. Device access, shared folders, backups and connected tools affect who can read them. You control these copies; deleting one does not erase the others.

3. Website and feedback

The feedback form collects your name, email, request type, subject and message, plus a submission time and reference. These are stored on the server to investigate requests, improve the product and reply by email where appropriate.

Feedback remains stored until manually deleted; there is no automatic expiry. You can request deletion through the feedback form. Do not submit passwords, keys, identity documents or customer records.

The website host receives connection information, including your IP address, when you visit and may process stored feedback as part of hosting the site.

4. Browser preferences and fonts

The website saves interface preferences in your browser. It uses available device platform and architecture information to suggest a download. This recommendation is calculated in your browser and is not stored as a server-side profile.

Google Fonts receives your IP address and connection information when your browser requests fonts. The website has no dedicated advertising or analytics tracker. You can clear saved preferences through your browser settings.

5. Accounts, integrations and updates

Where account services are enabled, Clerk receives browser connection information. If you sign in, Clerk and the account service also process sign-in information and session credentials. The signed-in desktop app can send a workspace identifier to the account service to check whether it is linked; this is not an upload of its records.

If you configure Sumsub and start a verification, the app sends the selected user’s identity and contact details to your Sumsub account and retrieves verification results. Your organization is responsible for informing that user and having permission to share their data.

Packaged desktop builds can contact the configured update host to check for and download updates. The host receives connection information. Records you deliberately share with other services are also subject to those services’ privacy terms.

6. Privacy requests

Use the feedback form to ask about, correct or request deletion of information held by the maintainer. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent and complain to a data protection authority.

For records held in another organization’s local ledger, contact that organization. The maintainer cannot access or erase files held only on its devices.

This notice will be updated when the way Open Dram handles personal information changes.
