Record and correct transactions

Draft, review and post an entry while preserving its history.

Create a draft

  1. Open Transactions and choose New transaction.
  2. Select the relevant user, direction, asset, amount, settlement information and wallet or counterparty details.
  3. Check the event date and time zone. Add the transaction hash or bank reference where applicable.
  4. Save a draft if details still need review. Drafts can be edited or deleted through the app.

Post after review

Posting commits the transaction to the ledger. Check the amount, decimal precision, asset, direction and references before posting. The app records the entry; it does not broadcast a blockchain transaction or instruct a bank to transfer funds.

Correct a posted transaction

Posted entries are preserved for traceability. Use the adjustment workflow offered on the transaction detail screen instead of trying to overwrite or delete a committed entry. Explain the reason and review the new entry before posting it. This distinction between editable drafts and retained posted records also applies to the free CRUD commitment.
